Our very first Meet the Teacher! We can’t wait to welcome our Parker Raiders and their families on August 12th!

📅 We know summer just kicked off, but we know you also like to plan ahead. If you haven’t done so already, mark your calendar for the 2026-27 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 dates and times (listed by date):

☑️ Intermediate | Aug. 10 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
☑️ Hartman ECLC | Aug. 11 from 4-6 p.m.
☑️ Elementary | Aug. 11 from 4-6 p.m.
☑️ High School | Aug. 11 from 4-7 p.m.*
*East Side Rally & Pirate Preview - 4-5 p.m. for 9th grade only; 5-7 p.m. for all grades*
☑️ Junior High | Aug. 12 from 4-6 p.m.

Parker JH football skills camps are almost here and we’re looking forward to all football players showing up with great attitudes and top effort. There is NO sign up to attend and NO cost.

Here’s what you need to know:

🗓️Every Monday and Tuesday in July
⏰11:30am-12:30pm
📍Wylie East Football Stadium
💧Stay hydrated, bring a water bottle

For any students that need an updated physical for the 2026-2027 school year, the Wylie East HS Physical Night is TONIGHT in the WEHS IMPAC Building. Please arrive by 5:15, and the cost is $25. Although you are required to have a complete and updated physical, you are not required to attend this event. This is just a convenient and cost-effective way to get an updated physical while supporting the High School Athletic Training Programs.

For all of our Parker Athletes! Please use the QR code to access the online store for purchasing athletic apparel. The store will remain open through May 25th!

🏈🏐⚽ Incoming 7th & 8th Grade Athletes – Don’t Forget Your UIL Paperwork!

Attention current Wylie ISD 6th-grade & 7th-grade students and parents: Any student planning to participate in junior high athletics during the 2026-27 school year must complete all required UIL medical paperwork, including a current athletic physical.

✅ All UIL paperwork and physicals must be completed and submitted by July 31, 2026.

🎵🎺 Wylie ISD is proud to name 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 as the first-ever Head Band Director at Parker Junior High!

Mrs. Becker joins us from Garland ISD, where she has served as Director of Bands at Hudson Middle School since 2014. With seven years of prior experience as an assistant band director at North Mesquite High School, Vanston Middle School, and McDonald Middle School, she brings a strong background in building successful programs.

We’re excited for her to launch the Parker band program and help students develop the skills they need to be successful as they move on to the Pride of the East at Wylie East High School. Welcome to Wylie ISD!
