Summit has continuously earned the highest rating of 4 Stars, since beginning the program in 2001. This rating is based on evaluations that Summit receives over a year long process. The evaluation consists of day-long monitoring of the learning environment that includes ratios, curriculum and discipline. Summit has a privately written curriculum for its preschool program. Children are actively involved in their learning environment. Rooms are arranged in specific center areas to provide optimal learning. Children are taught lessons each day that include mathematics and language arts. Summit also incorporates Sign Language and Spanish into the day.
