From Revolutionary-era attire to fascinating stories of America’s past, this free exhibit offers a unique opportunity to experience history up close.

Texas voters will head to the polls for the 2026 Runoff Elections, helping decide which candidates will move on to the General Election this November. Every vote plays an important role in shaping the future of our communities, state, and country.

Make a plan to get out and vote on Tuesday, encourage your friends and family to do the same, and let your voice be heard!

The Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to celebrate Building Kidz of Wylie with a special ribbon cutting ceremony!

Building Kidz provides a unique early childhood education experience that combines strong academics with performing arts enrichment to help children grow in confidence, creativity, and character. Their programs focus on nurturing the whole child through hands-on learning, music, dance, theater, and age-appropriate curriculum in a safe and supportive environment.

We are thrilled to welcome Building Kidz of Wylie to the community and are excited to see the positive impact they will make for local children and families.

Congratulations to the entire Building Kidz team on this exciting milestone, and thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate!

At our April State of the Chamber Annual Meeting & Luncheon, we had the privilege of recognizing incredible leaders who have made a lasting impact on the Wylie Area Chamber and our business community.
We proudly recognized Brenda Byboth for her dedicated service to the Chamber Board and her continued commitment to supporting local businesses and community growth.
We also honored Ian Halperin of Wylie ISD as our outgoing Chairman of the Board and welcomed Jessica Zuniga of Beyond the Behavior as our incoming Chairman of the Board. Their leadership, vision, and service continue to strengthen the Chamber and the Wylie community.
We also want to recognize former board members Carrie Lindsey and Dr. Ashley Gardner for their service and leadership throughout the years. Dr. Ashley Gardner also previously served as Chairman of the Board, and we are grateful for the impact both have made on our Chamber.

What started as a family-owned catering business in 2011 has grown into one of Downtown Wylie’s favorite BBQ destinations, known for its Texas-style smoked meats, homemade sides, and welcoming hometown atmosphere. From their signature brisket eggrolls to their award-winning BBQ, Bold BBQ continues to serve our community with passion and heart. ()
