IT’S SOCK DRIVE TIME!

Take the Lead is kicking off our sock drive for the second year in a row, and we’re ready to make an even bigger impact! Our goal this year is 1,200 pairs of socks to beat what we donated last year!

The best part? Every single pair of socks collected will be donated right back into our community to help those who need them.

If we reach or exceed our goal of 1,200 pairs by September 14th, BOTH grades get a PJ day!!

Bring in new, unopened pairs of socks (any size) to your 4th period teacher starting tomorrow Monday, August 31st through September 14th! 🩵🧦

First recycling/ trash day of many, let’s gooo! These kids are ready to serve WHEREVER they can.

Shoutout to all of our custodians that keep our home clean! We love being able to help out. 🤍🩵

We were THRILLED to welcome our 8th grade leaders HOME this week! 🏡💙 We kicked the year off strong with so many volunteers ready to serve at Meet the Teacher! Our leaders showed up, stepped up, and helped make our school feel a little more like home! We only had time to snag one picture, but trust us, both hours were full of amazing leaders! ✨💙

Ending the week with our first big group photo, tours of the school and building relationships! We’re so excited to see what these kids do this year! 🩵

Today we had the privilege of welcoming our incoming 6th grade Raiders! From team-building games and campus tours to sharing the spirit, pride, and culture that makes Burnett so special. Our 8th graders did an incredible job leading the way! 💙

We are so proud of the example our current leaders set today, and we’re already excited to watch our incoming leaders grow and shine! 🤍🩵

Happy Assistant Principal appreciation week to two of the very best around! We are so grateful for the hard work Mrs. Miller and Mr. Ramirez put in every day. Take the Lead and 8th grade History are so happy to honor them and the effort they put in every day. 🩵
