We are excited to recognize Jamie Byrum as our Volunteer of the Month for February!
Jamie serves as our Events Coordinator and always does a wonderful job bringing creativity, organization and enthusiasm to everything she leads. This month, she did a fantastic job organizing and executing our very first Smith Elementary House Party! Thanks to her hard work and dedication, students had the opportunity to proudly represent their house colors and track house points through engaging and creative activities planned just for the event. Her leadership and attention to detail helped make the celebration a huge success for our school community.

In addition to coordinating the House Party and other events, Jamie consistently shows up to support our school in so many ways. She helps with school decorating, scans wristbands after school for our Marathon Kids runners and makes copies for our kindergarten classes.

Jamie is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed.
We are incredibly grateful for her time, energy and commitment to Smith Elementary!

We are thrilled to recognize Janna Bowling as our January Volunteer of the Month!

Janna serves as the dedicated Secretary of the Smith PTA and we truly could not stay organized without her. She does an incredible job keeping detailed meeting notes and minutes, making sure our board and members stay informed and on track. Her organization and reliability help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

In addition to her PTA leadership, Janna also serves as the 4th Grade Level Coordinator. She leads the way in planning class parties, organizing beautiful hallway decorations and bringing creativity and fun to every event.

Janna is also often the last to leave events making sure everything is cleaned up and taken care of. Her willingness to go above and beyond to help, truly reflects her love for serving our students, staff and families.

MOD Pizza Spirit day this Wednesday!! When you buy lunch or dinner at MOD pizza a portion of the proceeds goes to our school 🍕

Officer elections will be held at the March Membership Meeting on Monday, March 9th at 7pm at Smith Elementary School. Current PTA members are invited to attend.

Interest forms for chair positions will be published soon.

Arete House won a special prize from our House Party last week 🥳 They will get to wear their PJs to school on Friday and they will enjoy extra recess!!
