One of our Rock Shop student bands had a pretty cool opportunity this week! 🎸🥁🎤🎹

Afternoon Daydream was invited to perform at the ribbon cutting celebration for the new Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Wylie!

This band has been playing together for several years now, and it was so much fun watching them take the stage and represent Wylie School of Music out in our community. We’re incredibly proud of them!

A huge thank you to Walk-On’s Wylie for inviting us to be part of your opening day. We were honored to be there and wish you guys so much success in Wylie!

What a fun night!

Our Open Mic was packed... literally standing room only, which was pretty awesome to see. Even better than the crowd, though, was watching our students get up there and perform. They did such a great job, and it's always fun to see them encourage one another and cheer each other on.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support these musicians. It really does make a difference when students have a room full of people cheering them on.

We also want to give a big thank you to The Hub Coffee & Tea for letting us use their space. They've been so supportive of our music community, and we're incredibly grateful.

Finally, thank you to everyone who brought hygiene item donations for the Christian Care Center. We appreciate your generosity and willingness to help others in our community.

We're already looking forward to the next one! 🎸🎤🎹

🎸 We’re getting ready to form our Fall Rock Shop student bands!

One of the best parts of learning an instrument is getting to make music with other people.

Throughout the year, our students rehearse together, learn real songs, and get to perform!

If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s feels like to be in a band, now is a great time to reach out.

Whether you're a complete beginner playing your first song in front of an audience or an experienced musician looking to share your talents, we'd love to have you join us.

Current and former Wylie School of Music students are invited to perform. Come share a song, play an instrumental piece, or showcase what you've been working on in lessons.
