Founded in 1958 by Kuk Sa Nim In Hyuk Suh, Kuk Sool is a soft/hard style that combines fitness with self defense. Kuk Sool Won Curriculum:

Yesterday was a great day of Black Belt Testing with KSW Murphy and KSW Prosper!

For some, it was their very first black belt test. For others their 9th. We even had a student testing for 2nd degree. The dedication, perseverance, and training on display were inspiring to see.

Now it's time to put that hard work into action as we prepare for the Arkansas Tournament next weekend!

Ever wonder why everyone wears the same uniform in K*k Sool Won? It's not just tradition for tradition's sake. The WKSA uniform creates a sense of belonging and teamwork, turning a room full of individuals into a school, a tradition, and a martial arts family. It connects today's students to generations of practitioners who trained before them and shows respect for the art and its customs.

Different ages, different belts, different backgrounds... same uniform, same journey.🙂

What an incredible morning at the Wylie Rec Center Summer Kickoff! ☀️🥋

From bounce houses and foam pits to music and family fun, the energy was amazing! Owner and instructor Andrew King and a few of our K*k Sool Won students had a great time meeting so many wonderful families and sharing what makes K*k Sool Won so special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, and showed interest in martial arts. We loved connecting with our community and can't wait to welcome some new faces into the dojang!

This year’s World Tournament was truly special. I’m deeply honored to have earned my 4th Degree Black Belt (사범님). 🥋

It felt particularly appropriate to have two other incredible instructors and friends walk with me for this promotion, Nicholas Spounias and Wendy Herrmann. Both have taught me so much about being a martial artist and instructor.

This achievement represents years of dedication, patience, and the guidance of so many incredible instructors, mentors, and training partners. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey — and I look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and share what I’ve been taught with others.
