She received her Bachelor of Music Degree in piano and her Bachelor of Music Education Degree in voice from New Mexico State University in 1996. She received her Master of Music Education Degree in voice from Texas A&M University at Commerce in 2003. She received her Kodaly Music Education Certification at the University of North Texas in 2009. She also holds a lifetime teacher certification for K
-12 music in the state of Texas. She has worked as a clinician, adjudicator, soloist, music teacher, guest lecturer, and conductor while teaching and maintaining a successful music studio. During her years as an undergraduate, Mrs. Seibert worked as the vocal coach and accompanist for the Doña Ana Lyric Opera in Las Cruces, New Mexico for various productions including Patience, Tartuffe, Sweeney Todd, La Boheme, and Don Giovanni. Seibert moved to Texas after graduation to teach choir at the middle school level. She began teaching piano and voice exclusively in her home studio in 2000. She has served as the artistic director and conductor for the Lewisville 5th Grade Honor Choir as well as the New Mexico Youth All-State Choir. Her studio has been filled to capacity for many years with highly talented students aging in range from preschool through adult. Seibert has taught thousands of students how to sing successfully during her six years of public school teaching. In her private studio, Mrs. Seibert has trained many talented singers, including Mrs. Lassiter, who have won scholarships and continued their vocal training at various college music programs. Seibert currently teaches private voice and piano lessons to home schooled and adult students on weekdays in her home studio.
