Mrs. Williams joins us from Davis Intermediate and brings a passion for helping students learn, grow, and succeed. She believes every child has the ability to achieve great things and is committed to creating a classroom where students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She shared that she is excited to share her love of learning with her students and looks forward to making a positive impact on the Burnett community. Welcome to the Raider family!

Coach Grayson Edwards brings junior high and high school coaching and teaching experience as he joins us next year teaching Texas History 7 and coaching boys' athletics.

A Wylie ISD graduate, born and raised here, he enjoys watching baseball, playing golf, and being outdoors with his friends and family. Coach shared he's a big Dallas sports fan!

Meet Coach Chad Tolentino!

A dedicated educator and coach with 20 years of experience in Mesquite ISD, Coach Tolentino shared that he is passionate about developing young people both on and off the field. He believes coaching is about building great people first, and takes pride in the lasting relationships he has formed with former students and athletes.

Coach Tolentino and his wife, who met in education, have two children and enjoy spending family time watching baseball, fishing, and camping. We are excited for the positive impact he will make on our students and community!

Ms. Lindsey Olson will be joining the Burnett Raiders next year!

She comes to us from Davis Intermediate. Ms. Olson is curing working on her Associate of Science Degree at Collin College. She has 2 dogs that she loves and is very close with her family.

Ms. Samantha Collier is joining the FASE team, as well! She brings experience in the role as she joins us from Davis Intermediate.

She shared that ever since her senior year in Partner's PE she knew that she found her passion for working with students.

Ms. Collier is also passionate about vintage fashion and enjoys her side business connecting others to vintage clothing.

Ms. Alexis Ausere is joining us next year! 😍

This will be Ms. Ausere's 6th year in Wylie ISD and 6th year serving students in our FASE specialize classrooms. She's passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs to learn and grow through fun and meaningful experiences. She loves to read & draw in her freetime & she shared that she's so excited to become a Burnett Raider! (We are excited too!)

Welcome to Burnett⚔️

We are excited to welcome our new Boys Athletic Coordinator at Burnett Junior High, Chad Tolentino. Coach Tolentino brings 20 years of educational experience in Mesquite ISD, including four years as a middle school assistant coach, 12 years as a middle school coordinator, and four years as a high school assistant coach.

Coach Tolentino comes from a dedicated education family. His wife also serves in Mesquite ISD, and they have two sons who attend schools in Wylie ISD. He is passionate about developing student-athletes with strong character, competitive excellence, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the Wylie community.
