The in between moments of the JLAB Nationals trip…

Your JROTC team finished #7 out of 16 Air Force teams at the JROTC Leadership & Academic Board National Championship this past weekend! The Cadets improved their standing from 11th place in 2025 to moving into the semi-finals, finishing in the top 2% of 5k JROTC Joint Service units across the world! Super proud of these Cadets and now heading home with tired brains and sore feet from navigating the history of our nation available to all in Washington D.C.

Today they visited The National Mall where they saw The Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Wall, Korean War Memorial, World Wars, MLK, The Tidal Basin, World War ll Monument, the Washington Monument, The National Archives and are currently wondering the Smithsonian Natural Museum.

Experience DC day with the JLAB cadets. The past few days we’ve been able to slide into our busy schedule a trip to see the outside Pentagon Memorial and a separate trip to Arlington National Cemetery where they visited The Tomb of the unknown soldier, The Changing of the Guard, Audie Murphy’s grave, the NASA memorials and JFK’s final resting place. Today we get in as much as we can on their bucket lists.
