The McMillan Bands invite you to their Spring Concert this Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30pm in the Montgomery Center at Wylie High School. This one is going to be extra special!

Our orchestras showed off all their hard work last night at our Spring Concert! These kids are so amazing and have shown immense growth throughout the year. We are so proud!

So very proud to say the least! The McMillan JH Jazz Band represented so well on Saturday at the Wylie East Jazz Band Festival!

They performed a set of 3 tunes with awesome improvisation solos. They were evaluated by a panel of two judges, received a clinic helping better their music, students stayed during the day to watch other jazz bands from the area, and attended a professional jazz concert at the end of the day by the “Stockton Helbing and the Helbing Jazz Initiative”. It was an amazing day of music. Young musicians playing jazz and being involved with this beautiful music is just simply amazing!

This weeks Noteworthy band members have been shining the way and are examples of great young musicians who are always improving and leading by example. We are proud of you!

Orchestra Parents- if you want an evening out and a little sneak peek at all the fun activities for your high school orchestra student- you can buy your Dinner and a Show tickets before they are gone at 4:00 PM on Friday! Eat a tasty meal from Goodfellas. Then, watch the talented Wylie High orchestra students perform their chamber music.

Want the VIP experience? Buy a VIP ticket for early food access and the best seats! Remember, we will not sell tickets at the door.

This event is on Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30 PM in the Wylie High School Cafeteria. Performances start at 6:00 PM.
