The McMillan Pirate Band helped support the Dodd Dino Reading Parade with a wonderful performance! The Drumline with their cadences, and the wind players with pep tunes including our very own McMillan Pirate Fight Song!!! Some of the band students are Dodd Dino alumni and were excited to come home to support the future. We are very proud of the students and all the joy they brought to the community, way to go!!!

Our Orchestra Students of the week are our Beginning Orchestra students! These kids have been working SO hard and have already made incredible progress. They’ve moved faster than any beginner class I’ve ever taught and I’m so impressed. They all deserve this recognition! Look how excited they are to learn to play with their bows!

🎨 Artist of the Week Announcement! 🎨
Congratulations to Azra S. for winning this week’s Gold Paint Brush Award! Azra S. showed incredible leadership and teamwork during our all-student collaborative art project. She was always the first to volunteer and help bring this massive piece to life. I am so proud of your hard work, creativity, and community spirit, Azra S.! Keep shining! 🌟

Jackson has shown so much kindness to everyone in our class! He has also stepped up as a wonderful leader during our first group assignment and has set such a positive example for his classmates. Norris is SO proud of you!!
