Summer Camp has come to an end. As these beautiful melodies play once again, I can almost see those eager, curious children back with us on those warm summer days.

Summer Camp Highlights ✨
We had so much fun making traditional Cantonese dim sum together, with lots of laughter and happy moments along the way!

Our final summer camp lesson took us to Fujian, the province neighboring Guangdong. We discovered the fascinating Fujian Tulou, learned about the architectural wisdom behind these unique buildings, and explored the origins of sashimi and the traditional raw fish and marinated seafood cultures found in China’s coastal regions.
The children were amazed by the unique structure of the Tulou and full of curiosity about “fish sashimi.”

🀄️ Pinyin Mahjong — Let the Fun Begin!

We put a fun new spin on pinyin practice! The children teamed up in pairs and took on pinyin reading challenges through a mahjong-style game. Every time they played a tile, they had to listen carefully and blend the sounds accurately. The game was both exciting and full of fun! 😆
There was friendly competition, lots of laughter, and even a special “punishment” for the losers! 😂
Pinyin practice doesn’t have to be boring. Through games, the children naturally strengthen their blending and reading skills while having fun! ✨

Welcome to the final destination of our summer camp—Guangzhou! ❤️

From its unique geographic position to its iconic landmarks, from the innovative design of Canton Tower to the cultural symbolism of the kapok flower, the children gradually uncovered the unique charm of this vibrant and modern city. 🌆🌺

Of course, the highlight was the traditional lion dance performance, which left everyone inspired by the performers’ incredible perseverance—“台上一分钟，台下十年功！” 🥁🦁
