Public Elementary School - Grades Pre K-8 P.S. 48 is a small elementary school located in the Concord section of Staten Island.
Our current enrollment is approximately 1000 students. We service children from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Besides offering the standard curriculum, we also offer a wide variety of art enrichment programs.

Calling all Trunk or Treaters!!
A notice was sent home with your child this week about the Trunk or Treat event on October 21, 2023 from 2-4pm.🎃 Please fill It out and return back to your child's teacher. You can also email the PTA at [email protected] if you would like to reserve a spot.
Calling all Cars to our Trunk or Treat Event
The PTA is looking for volunteers to decorate your trunk and provide candy to our trunk or treaters.
Please help make this event an enjoyable success for our school community and decorate your trunk in our school parking lot on October 21, time TBD

Color-A-Thon 2023... What a blast!
PS/IS 48 is a PreK-8th Grade Public School located in the Concord section of Staten Island. Our current enrollment is approximately 1000 students. Besides the standard curriculum, we offer our students various extra-curricular programs in STEM, art, music, literature and sports. During the course of the year, students can also participate in many after-school clubs and activities. We take an active role in our community and support various non-profit organizations through fundraising and raising awareness.
