π This summer, our 3rd and 4th graders will dive into the enchanting world of βBecause of Winn-Dixieβ by Kate DiCamillo.
This heartwarming tale introduces us to Opal, a young girl who finds a scruffy stray dog, Winn-Dixie, and embarks on a journey of friendship and understanding. This book beautifully illustrates the power of approaching others with curiosity, openness, and compassion. Itβs a perfect read for our young members to learn about the magic that can happen when we approach people with kindness and understanding.
