It was a fun and educational morning with our 20 participants from the Taiwan Global Pathfinders Program! 🇹🇼🇺🇸
We started the day with a guided tour of the Museum of Chinese in America ( ). Our wonderful tour guide, Alice, shared photographs, artifacts, and personal stories that brought the Chinese American experience—from the 19th century to the present—to life. 🏮📸
Afterward, we headed to the Tenement Museum for a 75-minute guided tour of Under One Roof. We learned about the Rogarshevsky family, Russian Jewish garment workers, and Adolfo and Rosaria Baldizzi, Italian immigrants who navigated life during the Great Depression.
It was truly eye-opening to step inside the actual tenement building and see the living spaces where these families built their lives. History came alive right before our eyes! ❤️
