College of St. Joseph Alumni Association College of St. Joseph in Rutland, Vermont. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1956.

Joseph's Alumni Association serves 2800+ graduates of CSJ by organizing events and activities. It also raises funds for an endowed scholarship awarded each year to help make tuition more affordable.

The services for Nanci Gordon will be as follows:
Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Friday, July 31,2026, at the Aldous Funeral Home 44 North Main Street in Rutland. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 Pm on Sunday August 2,2026 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Rutland.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Nanci Gordon, CSJ class of 1983. Nanci had great love for CSJ and returned to work there for a time. She served the Rutland community well throughout her adult life in a variety of ways. She worked and volunteered for various nonprofits in Rutland in addition to having a long career in radio – which she also used to assist many nonprofits with radio and media support.

Nanci was involved in many community events. She was one of the founders of the Gift of Life Marathon, and helped make it a record-breaking event that helped save thousands of lives. The Pack The Paramount Food Drive, which collected tons of food and tens of thousands of dollars over the years, was her brainchild.

She served as a religious leader at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Proctor and was heavily involved in with Trinity Episcopal Church in Rutland.

Nanci will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences go out to all her family and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Calvary Bible Church, 2 Meadow Lane, Rutland, VT 05701. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Calvary Bible Church.
