That's a wrap on 2026 Oregon STEM Week! 💫Thank you to our participating schools and organizations; your collaboration impacted an estimated 5,590 youths! 😲

Students engaged in many fascinating STEM activities, such as designing a solar-powered water pump for a native habitat garden, bioengineering a fruit, constructing Morse code beaded bracelets, and directing stop-motion films with paper cutouts!🙌

We spent a day with and high school students from Beaverton School District, Mountainside HS, Aloha HS, Beaverton Academy for Science and Engineering (BASE), International School of Beaverton (ISB), and Southridge HS.

This Career Day explored vital roles in the Life Flight Network, such as pilot and EMT. Students flew planes and helicopters in flight simulators, learned about CPR, basic first aid, and how to load a patient into an aircraft safely. ✈️🏥
