Our Preschool and Pre-K/K students were very busy in September! They learned about amphibians, made their own sailboats, baked banana bread, mixed colors, created play dough and so much more! The older students learned about maps and created one for their school. As always, we played outside as much as possible, and each birthday was celebrated with a treat and an educational gift from Little Scholars!

Thank you so much to all our wonderful families and staff for donating to help Portland-area women and children in need. Together we collected over 250 clothing items including much needed coats, sweaters, hoodies, socks and more; plus warm blankets and hundreds of personal care products, baby formula, diapers and wipes... all on its way to Rose Haven Day Shelter!

Our winter sock drive was a huge success! Little Scholars Academy and My Bundle of Joy families donated 216 pairs of children’s socks! Together with Columbia Academy and Emmanuel Presbyterian, we presented 535 pairs of socks to Harbor of Hope, to be distributed to children in need. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to help warm the feet of the unsheltered families of Portland.
