Recognizing there is no substitute for quality training & apprenticeship, the OREGON & SW WASHINGTON ROOFERS & WATERPROOFERS APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING CENTER is devoted to the idea that recruiting, mentoring, training, and continually educating roofers and waterproofers will only enhance the industry and those that are serviced by it. The JATC committee (OSWWRWATC) is continuously on the alert for

ways and means to improve training methods and procedures so as to keep ahead of the ever changing industry that we are a part of. The staff of (OSWWRWATC) is constantly; (1) growing in their scope of industry knowledge, (2) better understanding the process of adult learning, and (3) quickly adaptable in their methodology of facilitating. Only by providing a dual experience of tactile and cerebral training can the industry’s workforce meet the challenges of the ever changing world of roofing and waterproofing.
