Good Morning Lent Families!

As we started the new school year we have found that our welcome back letter did not make it to many families. Please check your spam folder as the email came from [email protected]. If you do not have an email on file please reach out to Paola Cabrera Perez via email and she can update it for you.

Please find our welcome back letter from principal Nichole Berg and assistant principal Tarehena Wicker below. Please read through the letter as it contains information about start and end of day, COVID safety protocols, daily screening checklist, and new staff to Lent and staff in new positions.

Your students' classroom is ready with all of the materials your child will need to learn, grow and have fun through the school year. Paper, markers, pencils, crayons and other tools for learning will be provided, and there is NO NEED for you to purchase school supplies. The only thing that we ask is that students come to school with a backpack big enough to store their jacket and any additional personal belongings.

Our first day of school for 2nd-5th grade will be TOMORROW Wednesday September 1st. School starts at 8:45am and ends at 3pm.

For 1st grade it will be THURSDAY September 2nd and kindergarten please connect with your students teacher

Breakfast will be served at 8:25am and students will pick breakfast up outside the cafeteria doors. The school will open at 8:38am for everyone else.

We are so excited to have students back in the building and cannot wait to welcome them back.

Portland Backpack will be distributing weekend food sacks at five city parks this summer. We will be at Columbia Park, Harrison Park, Khunamokwst Park, Lents Park, and Peninsula Park from 11am-1pm every Friday from June 25th-August 13th.

If you have any families who are in need of extra food assistance this summer, please let them know where they can find us!
