A q***r-led ballroom community where athletic training meets fabulous expression.

I’m Jake Heart, a gold-level finalist and longtime competitive ballroom dancer and team builder. From starting the Stanford Ballroom Team to launching PSU’s, I’ve seen how ballroom transforms people — and now, I’m bringing that energy to Portland’s new q***r ballroom community.

Our classes are beginner-friendly but athletic and fast-paced. And for those ready to push further, our competitive branch, QCrew, will be training for the 2026 Gay Games in Valencia, Spain. 🌍✨

💡 The video below is a throwback from the height of the pandemic, when my dance partner and I would practice outdoors in Palo Alto and perform for our neighbors – a reminder that ballroom always finds a way to bring people together, even in the toughest times.
