Will has made tremendous gains and is becoming a great swimmer! I’m so proud of him and look forward to seeing what he and the rest of the workout group achieves in 2018.
Thanks for allowing me to be part of these great young people’s lives. ~ Mike ❤️

This is a fantastic article in Runner's World about the importance of exercise (mainly running) for people with autism. I love this quote by Edie Brannigan, who's son with autism has thrived at running. She said, "I tell every single person who will listen: ‘Get them moving. Get them swimming, get them running, get them walking, get them moving. Move, move, move, move, move."
For Many With Autism, Running Is a Sport That Fits Special Report: As opportunities for training and racing grow, runners with autism and their families are seeing results they never anticipated.
William is getting stronger in the pool and has made a ton of progress over the last few months. Great job, William!
Here is some of the group practicing wall sits. No one likes them (including myself), but they help build isometric strength and endurance in quadriceps, glutes and calves. I also think they help with mental endurance and focus.

One of the key components of my program is exercise. It is beneficial in so many ways. Besides improving overall fitness, it helps build self esteem and improves cognition and focus.
