Woodhaven School is a nature based, Waldorf inspired cooperative preschool. We strive to cultivate the mind, body, emotions and spirit of each child through an exemplary program emphasizing personal growth, family involvement, nature-based play, creativity, artistic and musical expression, community service, and diversity in peoples, cultures and languages. Many children have a very limited access

to nature and it is important to give them a strong foundation of learning in the outdoors to create confident and self guided learners. How can we expect them to grow up to protect an environment they do not know? Through bug hunts and nature walks, we learn all we need to know... in our Preschool in the Woods.
