Voice tip #3: Take good care to stay hydrated as the fall/winter season can really dry out your voice, due to all the forced air heating. I recommend guafenesin tablets, 400 mg every 4 hours, if your voice is dry or hoarse (with tons of water, of course!).
Voice tip #2: the best exercise you can do for your voice is what I call a "siren". Start on any comfortable low pitch and slide, as smoothly as you can, into your upper register (to a comfortable high pitch), then back down. How smooth can you make it through the middle?
