Join Portland Pétanque Club Friday, September 11 at Westmoreland Park for a special afternoon with pétanque experts Pascal Tisseur and Patrick Grignon, a respected French referee and member of France’s national refereeing commission.

• A discussion in French & English about the rules and traditions of pétanque
• A look at the new rules coming into effect in 2027
• Insights from Patrick’s experience as a national-level referee and involvement with one of the world’s largest pétanque competitions in Marseille

🎸 What an inspiring evening!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Classical Guitar Recital & Commentary with French guitarist and composer Arthur Dente.

Arthur invited us into his creative world—where classical guitar, cultural dialogue, and musical traditions from around the globe come together to create something truly unique.

From his original compositions to beloved masterpieces by Villa-Lobos and Albéniz, the evening offered an unforgettable journey through sound and artistic exploration.

A heartfelt thank you to Arthur for sharing his music and vision with our community, and to everyone who joined us for another memorable cultural event at Alliance Française de Portland.
