Thank you to The Children's Book Bank, First Book, Pizza Hut, and The Literacy Project for donating books to our End-Of-The-Year Give Away and adding so many books to our library. At the give away we all went home with 2 books at the end of last year. This year about 150 books will also be added to our library to check out!!!!!
Gracias a The Children's Book Bank, First Book, Pizza Hut y The Literacy Project por donar libros a nuestro Regalo de fin de año y por agregar tantos libros a nuestra biblioteca. En la entrega, todos nos fuimos a casa con 2 libros al final del año pasado. ¡¡¡Este año alrededor de 150 libros también se agregarán a nuestra biblioteca para revisar !!!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all that came to our book fair! We made over $6700! That means we raised over $3600 for the Rigler Library. I have already purchased some of the books at the fair for the library! I can't wait to share them with the students.
¡UN ENORME AGRADECIMIENTO a todos los que vinieron a nuestra feria del libro! ¡Ganamos más de $6700! Eso significa que recaudamos más de $3600 para la biblioteca Rigler. Ya he comprado algunos de los libros en la feria para la biblioteca! No puedo esperar para compartirlos con los estudiantes.

We are at 68% of our goal for this book fair. Tomorrow is our last day! We will be open all day until 4pm. Only 32% more to reach our goal!!!

It is that time of year again!!!!! The Scholastic Book Fair is returning! We are so excited to share the new books. There will be time to shop after school every day and all day on Friday. We need lots of volunteers! All of the information about the book fair is on the Book Fair webpage, just click on the link below.

What a couple of weeks of intense battling. All of the teams showed how much they had read and how hard they have worked in each battle. I was impressed in each battle how much they all remembered from the books they read. I am so proud of all of them!

Today was Battle #2, between Team Jeff and the Reading Whisperers. The teams were neck and neck and final number was a 1 point difference. The scores for this week will be added to the scores they get next week. Stay tuned, next week I will announce the team that will represent Rigler at Regionals. I am impressed by how much teams are remembering about the books they are reading.
Hoy fue Battle # 2, entre Team Jeff y los Reading Whisperers. Los equipos estuvieron tan cerca por todo el tiempo y el número final fue una diferencia de 1 punto. Los puntajes de esta semana se sumarán a los puntajes que obtendrán la próxima semana. Estén atentos, la próxima semana anunciaré el equipo que representará a Rigler en Regionales.
