The Graduate School's 2026 commencement ceremony is taking place this Sunday, May 17!
Just a reminder to all graduates to report to Stamm Dining Hall in the Fowler Student Center (CAS campus) by 9 a.m. that day. Guests will proceed to Pamplin Gym for the ceremony. Complete details for guests and graduates are available on our commencement website. graduate.lclark.edu/commencement

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Charlene Williams EdD '15 is this year's graduate school commencement speaker! Dr. Williams is the current Director of the Oregon Department of Education and Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction.
The graduate school commencement ceremony is taking place on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Speakers Charlene Williams EdD ’15 is the current Director of the Oregon Department of Education and Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction. Check it out—our new Eco-Soma-Arts Certificate is launching! 👏
In summer 2026, the graduate school will welcome its first cohort of 23 students into the Eco-Soma-Arts certificate program. It approaches well-being from an integrated ecological perspective, teaching students how to work in and with nature using relational, somatic, verbal, spiritual, and artistic expressions.
