PC’s High School Drama Department presents “Roald Dahl’s W***y Wonka”

"Roald Dahl's W***y Wonka" follows enigmatic candy manufacturer, W***y Wonka, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory... or suffer the consequences. The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to W***y Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs by Leslie Bricusse ("Jekyll & Hyde", "Doctor Dolittle") and Anthony Newley. Come enjoy "Roald Dahl's W***y Wonka," a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

Performances will be at 12425 NE San Rafael Street.
Thursday and Friday, April 23 & 24 at 7 pm
Saturday, April 25 at 6 pm
Sunday matinee, April 26 at 2 pm

Tickets will be available at the school offices on Monday, April 6.

Brad Li, class of 2023, popped in during his spring break to say 'Hi'. We looked up his info in the 2023 graduation program. As noted, he's attending Central Washington University and added to his education major, Philosophy! To teach others, he shared with Mrs. Ray, he needs more knowledge! And his most meaningful memory, "Receiving Mrs. Humphrey's help." 💜

Thirty-eight PC high school band and choir students, along with their chaperones, are at the Portland International Airport and ready for takeoff!

Their Spring 2026 trip to Anaheim will be packed with opportunities — touring several colleges, and performing at the Anaheim Heritage Festival. The Band Quartet, Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Vocal Ensemble will all proudly represent PC on stage.

And yes … there will also be time for fun at Disneyland!

We wish our students and chaperones a wonderful trip and thank everyone who has supported the PC High School Music Program over the year through their fundraisers.
