Brooke Mayo, associate principal at TuHS, has been named one of three finalists for the 2026 High School National Assistant Principal of the Year. The winner will be named April 17. Congratulations, Brooke!

The TTSD Board of Directors has adopted school calendars for 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, with starts before Labor Day based on survey feedback.

February is Career and Technical Education Month, and last night at the board meeting we celebrated TTSD’s CTE programs.
Teacher Alexa Duda and students shared how this project created real world opportunities, while teacher Anneke Schoneveld highlighted student designed TTSD CTE logo concepts. CTE Coordinator Chris Lieuallen also shared about presenting at a Good Morning Tigard event, which included pastries from TuHS Culinary Arts and raffle items such as cutting boards built by the THS construction program for the Tigard Chamber as part of a partnership between schools and local businesses.
