Our first chapel of the year brought back a PAA tradition: Ask a Senior.

Seven seniors took the stage and shared honest, thoughtful advice on everything from habits that have helped them succeed, to what to do when life feels overwhelming, tips for Junior Challenge and Bible Camp, and how to grow your relationship with God as a high school student.

It was a thoughtful and inspiring way to start the year, reminding us that sometimes the best advice comes from someone who was just in your shoes not too long ago.

Last weekend, we went on Senior Retreat. It was a chance for our seniors to reflect on one of our core values: Concern — being actively involved in the welfare of others.

As they step into their senior year, they’re beginning to think beyond what they’ll accomplish and toward the mark they’ll leave behind. How will they make PAA better because they were here? How will they care for others? And when they graduate, how do they want to be remembered?

A legacy isn’t just what you achieve. It’s the way you make people feel, the lives you impact, and the difference you choose to make.

Seniors, the mark you leave is already being made. Now it’s time to make it count.

We are so proud of our PAA Alumni doing great things everywhere! Congratulations to Isaac and Lucas for this amazing recognition and for your excellent work.

Each year, the Positive Professionalism Award honors students across every level of training who put the LLUH values into action—demonstrating that excellence in medicine is not only about what we do, but also how we care, serve, and lead.

Nominations are submitted by peers, resident and faculty physicians, as well as other clinicians, and are accepted year round. Every fall and spring, the Professionalism Committee reviews the nominations and makes final selections based on an established process. Student recipients are featured on Positive Professionalism Display Boards located across campus.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees for inspiring us through their character, dedication, and commitment to compassionate, whole person care!
