First time making pizza with my crew & I think we’ve discovered a new staple meal. Super quick to assemble, very simple, and best of all these toddlers loved the whole process. They owned it from the first step to the last. 🧹

When your Mom Boss made soup for lunch and it’s a hike day, you make it work. It was perfection! Now I want to have soup picnics every week. 🍜

Celebrating National Nanny Recognition Week by sharing the first nannies I ever met with my nanny babes. Mary Poppins and Maria recognized off the clock 😉
(Amelia is more of a housekeeper/house manager, but she does a terribly fantastic job taking care of a baby in that one book - which was my favorite - so she deserves a place here.)

First week back with my faves after taking nine weeks off for school. 💕.
It launched Monday getting to see all five of my regular kiddos (nanny kids + date night fam) & learning that one family is “getting a new baby”. 🥰😍
Throughout the week there were many tiny (aka huge) achievements, including Table Wiping & bussing dishes (no prompting/guidance needed) & language lessons.
⏩ My work week was capped off with calling 911, canceling bank/membership cards, & giving a statement to a police officer at my home because the stroller was stolen while I was shuffling the toddlers into the house.
NEVER a dull moment. 😭
This week was more than I ever would’ve expected. Good 👶🏽 & Bad👮 Kinda hoping next week is 🤞🏻

It’s officially official!!!Diploma in hand ‘n’ all.
Teacher training at Montessori Northwest (Portland) is such a beautiful experience that I completed a second course with them & I think I’m satisfied now.. I’m fairly certain..
For the past 14 months I’ve been continuously studying, writing, & creating materials for this course. I’m not really sure what I’ll do with my free time now, since it’ll truly be free time. So many unproductive activities await!
Training fast-paced, a heavy workload in a (semi-)short length of time, all while surrounded by so many supportive individuals. I’m not sure how I would’ve made it to the end without their love, guidance, and motivation. During both trainings, I’ve built the foundations of life-long friendships, which is truly is the toughest part since most everyone lives scattered throughout the world. The silver lining is that having friends across the globe is a fantastic excuse for more travel.
& the answer to the question I’m most frequently asked: No, I don’t plan on going into a classroom. I will continue nannying and working in the home environment. Collaborating with families - children and their parents/guardians - is my passion. 💕

Hello! I am a career nanny looking for my next perfect-match family. I have years of experience and am well-educated. My experience includes caring for children from birth to 13 years old, but birth to 6 years is my niche. I follow the philosophies of Montessori and RIE/Educaring. I fiercely love being a nanny, which motivates me to continually learn and provide the best possible care.

Hello! Amy here. I'm not your average nanny. I intentionally worked towards this career. I love this work and am currently searching for an amazing family with whom to work. I look forward to chatting with you! :)
