On June 1st, 1996, over 300,000 people rallied in DC for Stand for Children Day — the momentous event that inspired the founding of Stand for Children.
Over the last 3 decades, we've been a voice for children in Oregon's capitol, advocating for improved access to career technical education, research-aligned literacy instruction, and time in school.

In case you missed it... The Oregon Journalism Project and Willamette Week highlighted one of Oregon's literacy trailblazers — our friend, Ronda Fritz out of Eastern Oregon University.
Ronda's High Impact Tutoring program that partners Eastern Oregon University students with local schools has inspired us to do the same in communities across the state.
Together, we can improve literacy outcomes for all of Oregon's children!
