: Seattle Edition ๐๐
This week, our 7th and 8th graders are taking their learning beyond the classroom and into the Emerald City! For four days they will explore Seattle through the lens of their current unit on underrepresentation and overrepresentation.
Through museums, public spaces, transportation systems, markets, and community experiences, students will examine whose stories are centered, whose voices are missing, and how cities reflect history, culture, access, and identity.
Along the way, theyโll practice independence by navigating public transit, managing personal budgets, solving problems together, and building deeper community with one another!
