Building Blocks is officially closed permanently. It has been a wonderful eight years of learning and growing along side the children. I appreciate every family that has trusted me with your most loved and most precious family members.
Building Blocks was my dream long before I could make it come true and I am forever grateful for the experience. I have made wonderful friends and expanded our family more than I could have ever imagined when I started this journey.
Because of Building Blocks I was able to be home with my babies and they were raised along side their lifelong best friends 🥰
This is not goodbye, I hope everyone stays in touch and we see each other soon!

Building Blocks Childcare and Preschool is a State Registered Family Care facility. Offering quality Hours are 6:30AM-6:00PM. Toys for boys and girls, all ages!
Well rounded, balanced meals are provided daily; breakfast, lunch and snack. Toddler and Preschool curriculum with a flexible daily schedule. Transportation to and from school. "Parent's Night Out" once a month with a low fee. Contact me for more information, questions or to schedule a tour.

Happy Halloween! We had a little backyard party this afternoon. Everyone made a house and we went “trick-or-treating” with our friends! 🎃👻

Last year we did a scavenger hunt to find a basket of goodies. This year we are decorating our own houses and trick or treating! We spent some time practicing this morning and now we have hours of fun ahead of us playing in a cardboard house 🍬🍭🎃👻

The book “The Holly-Day After” by Danielle Marietta is so fun! It does mention Christmas but even if you don’t celebrate, it talks about being together as a family and a community and fun yearly traditions!

Join our family! Building Blocks has two openings for the age group 2-5 years.
We are registered in the state of Oregon, located in NE Portland in the David Douglas School District, and open from 6am-6pm. We provide well rounded breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, offer a flexible and fun play based preschool curriculum, and child-led activities for all ages.

We are preparing for the next school year. Miss Cassy traded in the mini van for Big Mama! The kids are going to be safe while we take kids to school and pick them up.
