We are so happy for our client PDX Forest School who just received their official accreditation from Cognia. This milestone is the culmination of over two years of dedication and hard work and marks the true affirmation of their unique educational approach. Portland Forest School is a forest school in Portland where Kindergarten through 8th grade students journey outside and into nature every day.

We are so proud of our Forest school graduates! Four of the youth in the Paddle Tribal Waters program graduated 8th grade from the Portland Forest School.

Rios to Rivers made this epic adventure possible where three of our former students paddled the entire 310+ mile descent of the now mostly free flowing Klamath River!! (The 4th was doing a summer session in college and then returning home ๐Ÿ™‚).

OPB has done an excellent job sharing this story:

We are celebrating with our former students and all these youth for what they have accomplished with their personal effort and perseverance and are excited to see them continue to grow!

We are committed to helping remove invasive plant species here at the Portland Forest School.

This pic is from a couple years ago when students worked in mixed aged groups to harvest invasive Holly to burn for our full moon fire. We work together as a whole school community, as we do to help raise money so our small school can do big things ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒณ

This year is our first annual โ€œThe Great Ivy Pullโ€! If you know a student at our school they have a link to donate directly to them and how much they pull! If you want to donate to the whole cause see our website (link in the comments)๐Ÿค—
