After weeks of observing, caring for, and learning about our classroom caterpillars, students got to experience the magic of releasing their butterflies and the importance of pollinators.
Fun butterfly fact: butterflies donβt spin cocoons β they form a chrysalis! πβ‘οΈπ¦
(Cocoons are made by moths, while butterflies transform inside a chrysalis.)

Last month, Upper School students worked in teams to design and create piΓ±atas for Cinco de Mayo.
Each class then got to take a swing at breaking them open in celebration of the historic victory against French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
