Young Wonders Preschool provides a positive, nurturing space to have fun, try new things and explore. Our child-centered environment encourages self-initiative, a sense of belonging and respect for others. We provide plentiful opportunities to shape a confident child and inspire an excitement for life and learning! We believe children thrive in a safe, supportive environment where they can explore

their world, be affirmed in their inquiry, develop healthy social relationships and learn to express themselves. We offer a mixed-age classroom, welcoming children 2 ½ to 5 years old of all races, religions, ethnic origins, abilities and family composition. Our Young Wonders Preschool community practices mutual respect, learning from mistakes and collaborating on solutions. We recognize the beauty, value and contribution each child brings. Our mixed-age classroom cultivates a sense of community and celebrates the importance of every stage of growth and development. We are located in the Sabin neighborhood of Northeast Portland and have been certified since 2005.
