PDX Forest School Independent private school of community & nature. Elementary and middle school for Kindergarten-8th grade, located in the heart of Portland, OR. Students explore outdoor forest settings everyday to facilitate their learning.

Learning outdoors is so much fun! All are invited to learn more about our K-8 school community on August 15.

Third grade made pitch glue and crafted stone tools. Hands on projects build a tangible connection to lessons.

Tide pools, old growth forest, sand and ocean life! K-5th grade students had an exciting trip to beach this week. It was great to enjoy the warmer weather by visiting the beautiful Oregon coast and new ecosystems.

Elementary grades visited Audobon to learn more about birds, and wrapped up the day with a special reptile visit!

Portland Forest School is having our 1st annual spring FUNfest! ☀️🌲There will be an outdoor gear swap meet, an archery tournament, food, drinks, and games. Entrance is free! 🎯

5-8th grade had an amazing time during their spring overnight exploring the Columbia Gorge and adventuring at Eagle Creek.
