Flying Tortoise Academy is an integrated moment studio in NE Portland specializing in Internal Kung Fu and Capoeira. (www.flyingtortoise.org)

Portland Movement Arts rebranded this winter to "Flying Tortoise Academy." We will remain the your neighborhood space to practice healing art forms from a multitude of cultures. We find strength and balance in practices from India, China, Russia and South Korea. Moving forward we will continue to provide a safe space for LGBTQ and ethnically diverse students and teachers. sold this studio's former incarnation, PYA to Josef Haber. Josef brought on a team of experienced martial arts teachers of styles including Capoeira, BaGuaZhang, TaiJiQuan, XingYiQuan, DaBeiQuan and Shaolin.
