2. For ANYONE who wants to be able to volunteer in the school next year, please get a jump on completing your PPS background check this summer so you are ready to go by fall! Visit pps.net/volunteer for more info.

3. If you know of anyone who plans on sending their kinder to Capitol Hill next year, ask them if they've registered yet! Class sizes are determined by registration so it's really important for folks to get their kiddos registered sooner rather than later.

We’ve filled many board spots (thank you!) but we’re still looking for 1-2 volunteer coordinators. This is a vital role that helps our event leads ensure they have the volunteers they need in place to make the fun CHE events we love happen.

Our PTA is at a critical point as we plan for the 2026–2027 school year. We still have several essential Board and event lead roles open, and these positions need to be filled soon in order for many of our programs, events, and school traditions to continue next year.

This is truly a community-powered event, and we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for volunteers and contributions such as:
