Our goal is to help young artists explore their personal style by creating their own unique “recipe” for creating art. We cultivate a fun atmosphere.
We use positive encouragement and a consultation style of feedback challenging students to make decisions and to develop style, technique and meaning in their art work.use open dialogue to push past the expectation of “good” or “pretty”. We offer super small class size (6) we cover 5 printmaking techniques and let the students combine and develop a "recipe" for making artwork. We culminate the 5 days together with a public exhibition, a print exchange, and custom built print portfolio. Two sessions in July (Session 1: July 13 -19 and Session 2: July 27-31).
