Concordia University Portland Office of Innovation You have found yourself at Concordia University Portland’s hub for imaginative thinking - a place for students, faculty & staff to put dreams into action.

Innovation at Concordia is an “open creative process which finds and incubates inventive ideas to facilitate the positive transformation of society.”

The Office of University Innovation (OUI) was founded in 2013. We believe that innovation is something that any member of the Concordia community can participate in. The OUI runs events for students, particularly our Student Innovation Award winner

s, but also for staff and faculty in order to help ideate new concepts that might solve the world’s biggest problems. The

OUI is an incubator in the sense that we believe in harnessing creativity and supporting it with people and processes that turn it into something actionable.
