The St. Johns Parade has been a beloved North Portland tradition since the early 1960s, bringing together families, schools, community groups, bands, and local organizations to celebrate connection, culture, and community pride.

Families are invited to come explore our preschool classrooms and learn more about our program at our upcoming Preschool Open Houses! This is a great chance to meet teachers, see the learning spaces, and ask questions about enrollment.

If your student will be five years old on or before September 1st, 2026, they are eligible to join PPS’s incoming 2026-27 kindergarten class.

Children who will be 3 or 4 on or before September 1, 2026 are eligible for PreK. PPS Pre-K is free to all students.
