Asalamu alaikum, in sha Allah everyone is enjoying another peaceful Ramadan evening. Thank you to all who have already inquired about giving to our Gaza Fundraiser! There are a few ways to donate. We will take checks, mailed to our school address with "Gaza Fundraiser" written in the notes section. You are also welcomed to drop the money off at the school office, or send money to our Zelle, address is: [email protected], please if doing Zelle make sure to note that the money is for the Gaza Fundraiser.

Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu! We the 8th grade students at the Islamic School of Portland, have come together to bring you this message. The people in Palestine are hungry. The women, children, and elderly—everyone is starving. Because of this, the 8th grade class and our fellow teachers have worked together to make this fundraiser a success. We will be raising money, of which 100% will go to Islamic Relief Worldwide, which will be converted into fresh meals for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. During this holy month of Ramadan, all Muslims should be able to break their fasts with fresh meals, as we do every evening. This is precisely why the teachers and students have worked to make this fundraiser possible. We hope you and your children will help to ensure that as few Palestinians as possible go hungry.

Donating begins on *Monday March 25th* and ends on *Thursday April 4th*. In sha Allah the donations can also be made to Islamic Relief during the last 10 blessed days of Ramdan in the name of our ISP students.

School will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 1/17 due to icy conditions. We will see everyone Thursday 1/18 at 8am inshaAllah!

Asalamu alaikum dear ISP parents. We hope that everyone is staying warm and cozy! Tomorrow, Tuesday 1/16, the school will be closed because of the dangerous conditions outside. We will also be having a late start day on Wednesday 1/17, school will start promptly at 9am. Jazakom Allahu Khairan!
