Woodstock Cafe : “Meet Tasia
Tasia’s roots in Deaf education and advocacy run deep in our Portland community. From co-founding Grant High School’s first ASL Club to participating in Unified sports, she’s always helped create spaces of connection, inclusion, and access.

After discovering her love for café work during a PPS internship, she’s now part of the Woodstock Cafe team, bringing that same spirit of community into everything she does.

Her go-to order? A caramel macchiato with whole milk, plus a Charlie Brown bar, everything bagel with cream cheese, or a maple bar.

PDX Jazz “Jazz in the Schools” Annual Art Exhibit! Our Mt. Tabor 6th grade art student’s art with other fab schools among the gorgeous Rose Garden in Peninsula Park! Thank you 𝕯𝖆𝖓𝖎 PDX Jazz for an extraordinary experience!

Before the Sustainable Tiny House Fort, art students all presented awards for each tiny house model! It was wonderful to work with the two engineers Nikita and Prashanth through Architects in Schools and have a wonderful field trip this year to where the students presented to architects and engineers! My daughter, a 4th year architectuArchitecture Foundation of OregontTurner Constructions and gave positive feedback on their designs. Grant High School 2026 Student Art Show was breathtaking! I was teary-eyed with pride: seeing so very many of my former middle school art students and their artwork proudly displayed! So many different art mediums and original ideas. So powerful! I purchased some super gems from the ceramic sale! 💓
