We offer a unique urban Montessori experience at our main campus in NW Portland and a satellite Children's House classroom in SE. Our 300+ students, toddlers through adolescents, enjoy rich Montessori educational environments as well as access to an abundance of learning opportunities in our downtown community. We're open for in-person instruction for children 14 months through eighth grade.

What a turnout! Thank you to the Children's House and Elementary families who joined us for our summer Ice Cream Socials. It was such a pleasure to spend time together, reconnect with familiar faces, and welcome new ones to our community. This summer's Art Spanish & Nature camp was one adventure after another! The group meandered through art galleries and Farmers Markets, explored along the waterfront, and gathered berries for ink and fresh cobbler while hiking to the Witch's Castle. Xiomara and Zach peppered the kids with Spanish vocab words ("On tres: what color is the sky? UNO DOS TRES, 'AZULLL!!!'") while making sure to keep the vibes relajado in the summer heat. Their trip to NW Bird Alliance was a cool, shady cherry on top for the week, where campers got to meet Julio the owl and witness a live bird rescue! Nary a dull moment, and a plethora of treasures collected! 🥾🪻🦉🫐

Our Art Around the World camp this summer was as inspiring as they come! 🖼️🏺✨ The group focused on art influenced by different cultures and people around the world. From making their own Siapo cloths inspired by the people of Samoa, to drawing Koru designs as mentioned in Māori legends, to creating cloth baskets influenced by the woven baskets of Zambia, campers explored a myriad of different techniques and designs to inspire creativity! Other countries campers pulled inspiration from included Japan, Mexico, Chile, India, Ghana, and the countries of the Caribbean. They also made a trip to the Portland Art Museum to see art from around the world with their own eyes! The two week camp culminated in an art show attended by other campers, friends, family and staff.
