Our 8th-grade scholars completed their final high school interviews at local private high schools this past weekend!
In preparation for those interviews, our Graduate Support Program team brings together a dedicated group of volunteers each year to conduct mock interviews designed to mirror the real experience. Scholars receive thoughtful, individualized feedback and time for reflection so they can walk into their final interviews at prospective high schools confident and prepared.
Thank you to the incredible volunteers who helped equip our students for this important step in the high school placement process. We are so grateful for your investment in our scholars and their futures.

Merry Christmas from St. Andrew Nativity!
During the season of Christmas,
we pause to notice the ways peace is strengthened in community
and how hope and love are nurtured through care and belonging.
As St. Andrew Nativity School marks 25 years, we give thanks for a community rooted in companionship and a shared commitment to one another. May this season bless you with deep peace, steady hope, and love that continues to widen its circle.

At Nativity, we recognize Juneteenth as a moment to honor Black freedom, resilience, and joy. We reflect on the ongoing legacy of slavery and systemic injustice, and we commit ourselves to building a community rooted in equity, truth, and solidarity.
On June 19, 1865—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation—enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom. Juneteenth marks that delayed justice and serves as a powerful reminder of the struggle for liberation that continues today.
We observe this day not only by remembering, but by learning, listening, and taking meaningful steps toward a more just and inclusive future.

Today, we join with millions around the world in mourning the passing of Pope Francis—our beloved Holy Father and the first Jesuit pope.
As a Jesuit school, we felt a special connection to Pope Francis and the values he embodied. His papacy was a beacon of compassion, humility, and justice. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition, he called us to practice cura personalis—to care for the whole person, to walk with those who are often excluded, to see Christ in every human being, and to protect and cherish the Earth, our common home.
He reminded us that faith is not meant to be comfortable, but courageous—and that the Church must be a place of welcome for all.
May we honor his legacy by continuing to build a more inclusive, loving, and just world.
Rest in peace, Pope Francis. AMDG.
