The Program:

The Stumptown School of Music is an organization based on the firmly-held belief that no life is complete without music. Our mission is simple: To bring music into the lives and hearts of young people in the Portland Oregon area. We achieve this goal by teaching musical groups such as string orchestra and choir in various locations, as well as by offering individual private

lessons on a variety of instruments. The keys to our success are our talented, hard-working, educated teachers who are passionate about music and above all, dedicated to the success and well-being of their students. We believe strongly in our hands-on teaching philosophy, as well as in accommodating the specific learning styles of individual students. One of our goals is to provide a form of musical education to those that don’t have another option, such as homeschoolers or students attending schools without adequate music programs. Our services are not exclusively offered to these groups however; we welcome students from all age groups and levels of experience to join us and discover a passion for making music.

Stumptown School of Music is located in Oregon City and Estacada Oregon. We teach private music lessons on guitar, violin, piano, bass, drums and voice.
