The PSU Concrete Canoe team designs and builds a canoe each year. The Pacific NW ASCE Regional Conference is hosted by the University of Idaho this year.
"The ASCE National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) provides students with a practical application of the engineering principles they learn in the classroom, along with important team and project management skills they will need in their careers. The event challenges the students' knowledge, creativity and stamina, while showcasing the versatility and durability of concrete as a building material"

There is a work party this saturday 1/23 at the Hoop House. This will start at 9:30am and go until we finish the pouring and clean up a bit.
9:30am Saturday and Sunday is when the Work Party is for pouring the canoe! Come in clothing that can get dusty.
