Meet Melanie! This is Melanie's 8th year with Reading Results and she's had the opportunity to work in many different schools across Portland Public Schools. As a former classroom teacher, she thoroughly enjoys working in a school setting with just two students in a tutoring session.

The lesson plan design we use at Reading Results is structured so that we meet students where they are and continue to build foundational reading skills to prepare them for their educational future. Staff Spotlight! Meet Alice!

This is Alice’s first year as a tutor with Reading Results. She is delighted to be stationed at Sabin elementary, along with her fantastic tutor teammates, Nick & Traci, and their wonderful PM, Karlyn. Alice was formerly a full-time Paraeducator in Sabin’s SES classrooms for years before transitioning to become a substitute para, and she now has the opportunity to work in classrooms across the district supporting students with special needs. She is grateful to have the opportunity to work with students in a different capacity as a Reading Results tutor while continuing to build strong bonds within her school community and beyond.
